Concerned about cyclosporiasis?

While there is a current cyclosporiasis outbreak in Michigan, it's important to remember that there are many different causes of diarrhea and stomach illness. Having diarrhea does not necessarily mean you have cyclosporiasis.

If you think you may have cyclosporiasis, please contact your healthcare provider. Your provider can evaluate your symptoms, discuss any recent food or travel exposures, determine whether testing is appropriate, and recommend treatment if needed. Laboratory testing is necessary to help confirm a diagnosis.

Juneteenth commemorates June 19, 1865, when news of emancipation reached the last enslaved African Americans in Texas, more than two years after the Emancipation Proclamation was issued. The day is recognized nationally as a time to reflect on freedom, history, and the ongoing pursuit of opportunity for all.
