Some roofs may require what we in the trades refer to as a re-deck or re-sheet which is when after we stripped the roofing and fasteners from the roof deck and repaired any structural issues that we install an additional layer of osb decking over the existing roofdeck to ensure that our fasteners sest firmly into wood.
