Big News! 📢

Our Sabercats 11u Geers team is loading up for the 12u 26'-27' season and it starts with the addition of Coach Jamie Wright!

Coach Wright will join Coach Geers Staff at the conclusion of this summer season. She brings a ton of softballl knowledge & experience with her. Coach Geers along with our organization are beyond stoked for what's taking place with this group!

Coach Wright, a Mason County Central High School grad was a 4 year Varsity starter for the softball team. In her time there she had many individual accolades including All Conference, District, Region & All State honors. She's a Mason County Senior athlete Hall Of Fame Inductee!

From 07'-09', Coach Wright was a 2 sport athlete at Muskegon Community College, there she was named First team All MCCAA, First team All NJCAA, First team All Region, Two time All tournament selection & named Female Athlete of the year!

Coach Wright moved on to D1 Eastern Michigan University from 09'-11' & was a 2 year starting pitcher. She was named MAC pitcher of the week along with helping Eastern Michigan get back to the MAC tournament for the first time since 07'.

Coach Wright currently coaches the Coopersville Middle school team. She has previous Coaching experience as the pitching Coach for SVSU & Calvin College along with stops at Walled Lake Northern High and through the travel circuit.

Coach Wright is excited for this new opportunity and can't wait to Coach alongside
Coach Geers to build on an already great season that this 11u bunch is having.

An unbelievable weekend at the Northern Classic in Traverse City was had throughout our program.

🏆 TOURNAMENT CHAMPIONS! 🏆

The Michigan Sabercats Geers 11U put together an incredible weekend, finishing 5-1 and bringing home the Championship!

🥎Game 1: Sabercats 5, Michigan Storm 0
The Sabercats opened tournament play with a dominant shutout victory. Charli S got the offense rolling with an RBI single in the first inning, while Baylee G added another run in the second. Zoe S was electric in the circle, allowing just one hit while striking out eight over three innings. Marion K closed the door with two scoreless innings and four strikeouts. The Sabercats swiped six bases and played outstanding defense from start to finish.

🥎 Game 2: Sabercats 8, UP Chaos 3
After falling behind early, the Sabercats battled back. Addi G drew a key walk to tie the game, and the offense exploded in the third inning. Charli S delivered a sacrifice fly, Adalynn H added an RBI single, and aggressive baserunning helped extend the lead. Marion K earned the win with seven strikeouts, while Emersyn D led the offense with two hits. The team showed tremendous patience at the plate, drawing seven walks.

🥎 Game 3: 231 Fusion 6, Sabercats 5
The toughest loss of the weekend came in heartbreaking fashion. The Sabercats battled back to take a 5-2 lead behind a clutch RBI double from Zoe S, an RBI single from Marion K, and timely hitting throughout the lineup. Unfortunately, Fusion scored on the final play of the game to walk it off. Despite the loss, the girls showed grit and determination that would set the stage for the rest of the tournament.

🥎 Game 4: Sabercats 9, Dirt Divas 3
The Sabercats bounced back in a big way. Five runs crossed the plate in the first inning, highlighted by Zoe S’s RBI double and Marion K’s RBI single. Zoe continued her big day with an inside-the-park home run in the second inning and finished with three RBIs. Marion was dominant in the circle, allowing no hits and striking out six. The offense stayed aggressive and never let the Dirt Divas back into the game.

🥎 Game 5: Sabercats 6, Lakeshore Pirates 1
The Sabercats carried their momentum into Sunday with another strong all-around performance. Charli S drove in runs early, while Zoe S added an RBI single. Marion K was outstanding in the circle, striking out eight and allowing just one unearned run over four innings. Adalynn H continued to create havoc on the bases with two stolen bases as the team finished with six steals.

🏆 Championship Game: Sabercats 6, 231 Fusion 5
The championship game was the perfect ending to an incredible weekend. After suffering a heartbreaking loss to Fusion the day before, the Sabercats earned a rematch with the title on the line. The girls battled back multiple times, tying the game in the sixth inning behind key hits from Kylie B and Marion K. With the game tied 5-5 in the seventh, Zoe S comes up with a big hit with a go ahead run. Marion earned the win in the circle, and the defense held strong to secure the championship. It was a true team victory and a great example of resilience, determination, and never giving up.

💙🥎 The Sabercats finished the weekend 5-1, scoring 39 runs while bringing home the championship trophy. After a heartbreaking loss on Saturday, they responded the best way possible—by earning another shot and finishing the job on Sunday. Proud of this group’s fight, toughness, and teamwork all weekend long!

Sabercats 10u Lusk finished their season strong as they bring home Gold from the sliver division of the Northern Classic in T. City!

Our season has come to an end. This is a great group of girls that work hard and never give up. We ended the season with a Northern Classic Silver division championship. We absolutely love this team and way to battle all weekend. GO CATS💙🥎🖤
