Joyful Strides

My girls and I loved helping out at Pioneer Resource’s Fundraiser.

Praising the Lord and wanting to give Him all the glory 🙌 This is way out of my comfort zone….God layed on my heart a couple years ago to write a book, and well, here it is! Yikes! I’ve been privileged to serve as an Occupational Therapist for 20+ years and have wanted to compile some of the tools I’ve learned as well as incorporate spiritual truths to help families who have kids with special needs or who have experienced trauma. This book touches on nutrition and sleep, primitive reflexes, sensory integration, fine motor skills, gross motor skills, visual motor skills, tips for partnering with your school, etc, and some self assessments that parents can fill out at home that would prepare them for talking with their child’s pediatrician or therapist that they’ve been referred to. More than anything, I hope this is a help and encouragement to families to see God’s perfect plan and design and His unmeasurable love for us.
