The Beach Shuttle is back for 2026 🌊

The City of Muskegon is thrilled to announce the return of the Beach Shuttle for the 2026 season! From May 22 through September 6, you can skip the parking hunt and enjoy a FREE ride to our world-class shoreline.

Whether you’re heading out from the Jackson Hill neighborhood, exploring Downtown, or cruising the coastline, our two dedicated routes make the waterfront accessible to everyone.

Service Highlights 🗺️
📅 May 22 - September 6, 2026
🕛 Fridays & Saturdays: 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM
🕧Sundays: 12:00 PM – 6:00 PM

🟡 The Tan Line (MATS Route 41): A convenient, bi-directional loop connecting Kruse Park to Harbor Towne Beach with plenty of scenic stops in between.

🔵 The Town Line (MATS Route 42): Your direct link between the Jackson Hill neighborhood, Downtown Muskegon, and Lakeside, with an easy transfer to the Tan Line near Pere Marquette.

How to Ride 🚌
Just look for the MATS stops featuring the purple Beach Shuttle signs! Schedules vary with summer traffic; track bus routes by:

All buses are ADA-Accessible and have bike racks. The city has free street parking, find a close stop, and hop on the shuttle this summer! 🚌☀️
