When you shop at Back Again Bookshop, you are supporting the dreams and livelihood of a real, honest to goodness, Horry County family. We are just four happy readers who live here and put all of our energy and resources back into this amazing community. The first picture is from last week and the second one from a few years ago. It’s crazy how long we have been bookselling here now! You can feel good about the fact that when you donate or buy a book from this store, you are actually playing a role in us affording our oldest son’s college education. He graduates from Coastal next year! When you pick out a puzzle to buy, you are actually making it possible for us to adopt a dog from the shelter and give it a home (shout out Gertrude!) When you drop off your unwanted books, you are directly responsible for helping keep a bookshop open and operating in Myrtle Beach. We do not have any investors, and we have no ‘corporate office’. We are just a family of readers who know how lucky we are to have bookshop fans like you who make it all possible. So here is your reminder that if you haven’t been in to visit since Arthur (our youngest son) was shorter than me- consider this your sign to stop by and grab a couple new to you titles, or to pack up and drop off your unwanted books for our shelves.
