Gingerbread Way

My customer and her family were at the beach celebrating a birthday and visiting Myrtle Beach Shark Tooth Adventure for a bit of hunting fun.
So, of course, they requested a shark's tooth themed cake!
~Chocolate and vanilla marble cake topped with vanilla buttercream. Teeth and decorations made with fondant. 🦈

The recipe for this chocolate pound cake was given to me about 35 years ago by a very special lady.
It's hand written by her and stays tucked away in my Mama's old recipe box .
I love using recipes out of that old box. The taste of nostalgia is the very best.

Hello Kitty! Who doesn't love Hello Kitty?
When my oldest daughter was 14 months old, she loved going into the Hello Kitty store. She loved the big girl cups with a straw. When she was ready to give up here bottle, she traded here bottle for a big girl cup. We left her bottle at the store and happily left with her big girl cup.
Of course, she cried for her bottle later that night but I gently reminded her that she traded it for her big girl cup . That night she said she was a big girl and never looked back. I still have that Little Hello Kitty cup! Embrace the memories that we have been given.

Peanut Butter Cup cake and I didn't hold back on the peanut butter and chocolate.
Iced and filled with my grandmother's peanut butter icing recipe.
Then loaded with crushed milk chocolate and white peanut butter cups between the layers and on top.
