New work. 16x20 acrylic. Not yet named. Saw this beauty playing in low tide.

It has been a while since I have painted. Saw this beauty fishing in the low tide and wanted to paint her. She is 16 wide by 20 tall and is in acrylic. May be framing her in a black frame, but not sure yet.

Today, on our 250th birthday, I took a pause to read these documents and I am filled with gratitude to our founding fathers and all the service members who gave their lives, blood, tears, and sweat to defend it. Because it is not about politics; it is about our country.

I am proud that I was able to serve 26 years.

Happy 250th America.

I love my country and what our founding fathers laid as a foundation for freedom and liberty for all. May we all take a moment to read these founding documents and remember these words, ancient in history and famously said by Patrick Henry—”United we stand, divided we fall.”

I would like to introduce Guinness. A beautiful Black English Lab with a bit of American Lab in him who has been matched to me as my next service dog. I met him in March when he was 7 months old and we were matched this week. He is now 10 months old. Our training will begin together in October. Over the next few months they will start to hone in his training for me specifically. Violet will stay and her retirement is gradual. He should be home with me in Jan for that transition which takes about five-six months. It is a long process but a good one. Thank you for being an outstanding group that trains lifelines!!!
