We AdORE reading our guest book every time we visit! Some of yall write SUCH sweet messages!! Some share some really funny stories that make me laugh out loud and nearly everyone gives recommendations on places they ate and neat things they did. We love all the balcony messages too! This is one of my favorite parts of our visits, so thank you, all of you, who take the time to write in our guest books.

We just need to open a coffee shop on our balcony and name it "Coffee with a View"
It'll probably be all white in a couple days... lows of 17 this weekend. But it just doesn't feel as cold here as it does in the ridiculous windy Dallas.
Have you stayed with us? Did you get clear skies when you were here?

Royal Gorge Bridge - America's highest suspension bridge at 956 feet above the Arkansas River. 1257 steps on wooden planks across it... Built in 1929, it's still super popular with gondolas, ziplines, a skycoaster and breathtaking landscapes.
There are plenty of picnic areas to also get views just before going into the park.
An hour drive from Colorado Springs, this is in Canon City... you can see where it got it's name!

Debating between driving up Pikes Peak - or taking the Cog Railway?
Beautiful views, so much to see...and yum, those donuts!
I recommend downloading the app TravelStories before you go because cell signal isn't great up there. The app will explain the stops and tell facts as you drive along.
The Cliff Walk in Newport, Rhode Island. Serene views and a great walk.
The 3.5 mile trail passes many of Newport's most famous historic mansions and is a combo of smoothly paved pathways and rocky, unpaved areas. Some of it you can jog, some you should walk carefully.
