The Featured Teacher for Week 3 of STORY TIME @ DRIPPY’S is Teresa Elswick! Teresa has been a teacher for 24 years and is currently teaching 1st Grade at Burgess Elementary!

To help you get to know Teresa before STORY TIME on Tuesday (6/30), we asked her a couple of questions:

Q: What is your favorite thing about being a teacher?
A: My favorite thing about being a teacher is building relationships and connections with students and families. I also love building confidence and a love for reading in all of my students!

Q: What is one fun fact about you that many people may not know?
A: I enjoy exploring new styles of crafting and being creative.

Q: What was your favorite book as a child?
A: As a child, my favorite books were books in the Little Miss series. I loved Little Miss Sunshine. One of my favorite children’s books today is Auntie Claus.

Q: What is your favorite Ice Cream Flavor?
A: I am a traditional Chocolate Ice Cream fan!
