Nacogdoches Fire & Rescue

Yesterday we officially welcomed Dominic Erickson to the NFD crew! Firefighter Erickson came to us fully certified with both his basic firefighter and EMT certifications, so after his month in the office getting to know the departments we work closely with he immediately started his year of probation. He’s done very well learning how each station operates and all the streets within each station’s district even after spending his last six months at Station 5. He’s continued his education by taking some required courses for other certifications and has even begun training for our dive team.

Congratulations on upgrading your yellow probationary helmet to your personal black firefighter one! We’re happy to have you on board and can’t wait to see how far you’ll go in the future.
