Keepers Restaurant is a young and energetic restaurant serving its local and seasonal community in the heart of Nantucket Island! For the last five years, Keepers has risen to become one of the top restaurants on the island, taking pride in food quality & service. The menu and cuisine is derived from favorite dishes that everyone can enjoy. Inspirations from travel and other experiences are highly encouraged to be shared, to ultimately serve a casual, elevated crowd. Keepers is currently seeking a strong line cook, with experience on saute, grill, fry, garmo, etc. Freedom with specials and menu planning, this position serves as a key role to daily operations. Primarily open six nights for dinner, Keepers is looking for an individual with passion, creativity, team-driven, organized, with strong kitchen experience. One must be comfortable cooking on a flat top, using a fryer, designing cold items as well as showcasing knowledge cooking proteins on a grill and saute. They must also be able to consistently demonstrate inventory control and appropriate prep planning.
