Summer reading isn’t just about books—it’s about fun, educational events at the library, too! Do you know a preschool or school-aged kid who is fascinated by reptiles?

We’ve got some incredible creatures visiting each of our Napa County Library locations next week. Here’s the scoop:

Napa Library: Wednesday, June 17 – Drop in 9:30 to 11:30 a.m.
Yountville Library: Wednesday, June 17 – 2:30 to 3:30 p.m.
Calistoga Library: Thursday, June 18 – 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.
American Canyon Library: Thursday, June 18 – Drop in 3 to 4 p.m.

Calling all parents and caregivers! Don’t miss our Summer Library Adventure Kick-Off for kids at the Napa Library on Wednesday, June 10 from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.

We’ll have stories and crafts, and kids can sign up for summer reading and get a special “Plant a Seed, Read” magnet, too!

We are so happy to be able to offer computer skills classes through this initiative in both English and Spanish at the American Canyon and Napa Libraries. Classes start up again in August. To learn more, call the Literacy Center at (707) 253-4237.
