• Checks and Balances: Tyranny is restrained by design.
• Federalism: Shared governance between states and nation.
• Individual Rights: Speech, press, religion, due process—codified in the Bill of Rights.

These principles were not just ink on parchment. They were a promise. A challenge. A legacy.

That legacy is now under siege.

Donald J. Trump, the GOP, and a captured Supreme Court are systematically dismantling the architecture of American democracy. And MAGA supporters—those who surrendered their agency to a cult of personality—are not innocent bystanders. They are complicit.
