Severe weather is moving into the Midwest this evening… including hail, damaging winds, and tornado threats. Chicagoland is under a Tornado Watch through 10 PM.

Here’s what we’re seeing on the radar, and what you can do to stay safe:

WHAT TO EXPECT:
• Golf ball size hail (1.75”+) already detected in WI
• Wind gusts up to 75 mph
• Tornadoes possible across IL, IN, MO

AT HOME:
• Move your vehicle into a garage or under cover
• Bring in patio furniture and loose outdoor items
• Stay away from windows—hail can shatter glass
• Unplug electronics to prevent power surge damage

ON THE ROAD:
• Pull over safely and stay inside your car
• Face your vehicle into the wind—windshields are strongest
• Do NOT stop under overpasses
• Use a jacket or floor mat to shield yourself from glass

AFTER THE STORM:
We’re already on standby for storm response. Hail this size can cause serious roof, siding, and gutter damage—even if you can’t see it from the ground.
If you need an emergency inspection, we’ll be ready when it’s safe to roll out.
