When you only had a tiny baby and people would look at you wistfully and say, “It goes by so fast,” did you ever want to just punch them in the face?
…Or was that only me? 😬

I remember feeling so overwhelmed and clueless and like I was drowning in Groundhog Day. But now, with a nearly eight year spread between my kids… I look at my daughter who seems more grown up by the day and then at my chubby toddler and I’m already starting to understand what they were saying. I’m seeing so many kids entering middle school or [gasp] being driven to college campuses and I remember when they were babies! It’s truly wild.

As the years pass, and the older your kids get, the more love your heart has to hold. Whatever age and stage your kid’s in, let’s all agree that there is wonder and beauty and magic in simply every bit of it.
