Fitness for everyone! Introduce your kids to fitness through a fun, high-energy group class they’ll love. Have fun with circuit training and games, develop skills to increase strength, balance and cardio capacity through the art of play. Donations are greatly appreciated, all proceeds will go towards Power Kids Wellness Inc. Power Kids Wellness Inc. has partnered with Florida Personal Training to bring the local Youth of SWFL a Wellness program designed specifically for them at no cost to families.
Our program will include:
• Family Fitness Classes - Classes that focus on activity and play as a family. creating an in-home environment of activity and movement.
• Nutritional Guidance on the A,B,C's of Proper Nutrition - Learn the truth, about your body and how to fuel it right. Educating the youth on various aspects of maintaining healthy eating habits and how to integrate this lifestyle into their own.
• Kids in Motion Activities - Exercising doesn't have to be a chore. We introduce youth to new sports and activities. They will learn the rules, strategy of the game, and how to be a good teammate. In hopes that they will enjoy the game or activity, share with friends and play often.

Age Requirements: 5+ year olds may attend Family classes with a parent or guardian.
Level: All

Tomorrow is the day!!
We often associate the month of February with hearts because of Valentine’s Day. However, there’s another reason we should think about hearts in February; it’s American Heart Month. February is designated as American Heart Month to advocate cardiovascular health and raise awareness about heart disease.
Please join us for a 1.3 mile Healthy Heart Walk around Baker Park (50 Riverside Circle, Naples, Florida 34102) on Saturday, February 25th at 9:30AM. We will meet on the lawn east of the Eva Sugden Gomez Building.
All donations will go towards Power Kids Wellness, a 501c3 nonprofit organization that provide youth the opportunity to learn how to create and sustain a healthy lifestyle. PKW promotes physical fitness and nutritional education in a safe and fun environment, equipping the youth of SWFL with the tools they need for a life-long healthy lifestyle.

Our Youth Fitness program promotes physical fitness in a safe and fun environment.
The team of experienced Sport Performance Specialist, Physical Therapist, Athletic Trainers and Wellness Coaches have the training and expertise necessary to help young kids achieve their health and fitness goals.
Our program encourages kids to be physically active every day and eat a balanced diet. The focus is on the benefits of proper nutrition and exercise for life! We work to equip youth clients with the tools they need for lifelong wellness.
•Supervised Performance Training, Resistance training, cardiovascular training, and interactive games.
•Nutritional Guidance

Has your son or daughter done any type of strength training/ fitness classes within a gym environment before, maybe with their school or outside of school? Do you worry about whether they are safe or getting sound guidance?
Do they participate in any sports they perhaps want to be fitter, stronger or more skilled for?
Or are they asking to go to the gym or fitness classes with their friends, where you worry about their safety, sound guidance, safe exercise selection, the coercive behavior of others, unhealthy influences & generally feel concerned about them in an environment that can be not only daunting but also promote unhealthy mindsets, body types and exercises?
We can't blame you... there are many cowboys out there.
What we do at Power Kids Wellness involves a variety of different training methods, so your child has the opportunity to learn how to lift safely and choose the best exercise and training regime for their goals, while also increasing their fitness level. They will be taught about sound nutrition and negative fitness influences and fads to avoid. This will allow them to become a well-rounded individual.
Each session includes a variety of bodyweight & fundamental strength exercises. We train movements not simply exercises, and everyone earns the level of exercise they do - that is, they must be strong enough, have sound body movement technique and have the neurological ability to do a movement safely.
These movements covered will include both bodyweight and weighted (if ready), knee dominant movements like squats, hip hinge movements like deadlifts, push/pull movements such as rows and pressing or pushups etc, as well as metabolic conditioning and agility.
Your child will also learn the importance of sound warm-ups and recovery.
Each daily session will have a different skill that we will focus on for that day within a fun and safe environment.

Fitness Tip of the Week!
Get active! Fit in physical activity where you can in your day, whether taking a family walk after dinner or hitting the gym. Remember, children and teens should get 60 or more minutes of physical activity per day, and adults should get two and half hours per week.
