This one was out of area for me as it’s located in Englewood, FL up in Charlotte County.

People talk about a “diamond in the rough” but this is the real deal.

My seller owned a manufactured home on it that got quite literally destroyed by his rental tenants.

There was no point in rehabbing it so we demolished it (with permits*,) cleared the lot and it’s now up for sale.

If you’re not familiar with the area, don’t fret — neither was I.

But when I went in person to check it out — I was blown away.

It’s essentially the Bayshore of Charlotte County.

It’s all 50s/60s construction with the little car port attached and is prime for development.

This would be the first brick and mortar home in the neighborhood.

It’s right off the main drag and right across the street from a neighborhood of canals with direct access to the gulf with boat slips for individual sale.

As this godforsaken year comes to a close, I think about the highs and lows and how fulfilled I feel.

Not happy, not sad –– fulfilled.

According to the google machine, it means:

Satisfied or happy because of fully developing one's abilities or character.

Now, I am absolutely not a finished product.

None of us are.

And we never will be.

There's a beauty to the fact that there's always a higher level.

You constantly push and push and self-audit –– or should anyway.

Never be satisfied.

But also never compete with others. Only ever compete with the ghost of you.
