It’s taken me a couple weeks to write this because if you know me… you know how close I am to my boys. So if you’re at Costco, feel free to grab me some Kleenex 🤍

Paxton is heading back to his hometown to play 18U AAA with HoneyBaked Hockey next season. Completely unexpected- and I’ll never forget getting that text from him at a combine saying he had multiple tenders from junior teams all over the country. Yes… I absolutely screamed and cried in the middle of Magic Kingdom.

After doing his (very detailed) research, he knew this was the right fit - surrounded by family, friends, and a place to keep growing.

We couldn’t be more proud… but wow, the house is going to feel different without the constant Xbox noise and pucks flying in the garage. This is a huge step, and he’s earned every bit of it.

For the parents heading into tryouts next week—chasing the “A”… chase the coach. The politics are real. Paxton only played four years of travel (starting at the bottom of 14U because they needed players), and the right coaching made all the difference. His grit and drive to always get better is what got him these offers—not worrying about what letter team he was on.

So proud of what Dave and his 16U team built—undefeated their first year and fewer than five losses in 60+ games last season. The work these boys put in is incredible, and it’s showing with the opportunities they’re earning and contracts being signed this week.

What a whirlwind of the last few months!!

I’ve been with John R. Wood Properties for two years now, and I can honestly say I love what I do. Working for a company that puts family first and supports me through every hurdle is a true blessing.

People keep insisting the market is crashing… yet in the last 60 days I’ve closed 11 properties - many at record-breaking prices.

• The highest sale ever in the history of the community
• The highest price per square foot
• The highest rental rate - yes, that too!

And all of this happening while juggling real life:
• Serving as HOA President
• Managing both of my boys’ hockey teams
• Negotiating contracts in between “cheering” them on from the stands
• All fueled by the simple truth: I HATE to lose. That competitive fire is what makes me fight harder for my clients.

From beachfront condos to golf communities, investment homes to winter escapes, I’ve had the privilege of guiding buyers and sellers through some amazing transitions.

This month, I’m incredibly proud to officially hold the #1 spot. Not because of a big team - but because of hard work, late nights, fierce dedication, and yes… control issues I’m not letting go of anytime soon.
