Before a student ever steps into a classroom, they step into a family.

And that family becomes the first teacher, the first cheerleader, the first source of strength. 🌱✨

At The Immokalee Foundation, we see it every day:When families are engaged, students rise higher. When families believe, students believe.
When families show up, students show out.

Family is the anchor that keeps students grounded, the voice that reminds them who they are, and the support system that helps thempush through the moments that feel too big or too heavy. Our work is stronger because families stand with us.

Our students are stronger because families stand with them. And our community is stronger because we walk this journey together advocates, mentors, and families forming the foundation of every success story. 💛🏡

This is why we invest in the whole student.
This is why we partner with families.
This is why our students thrive. Learn more about how family partnership fuels our mission

The secret sauce to student success? Three ingredients: Advocates. Mentors. Family.

At the The Immokalee Foundation, we’ve learned something important:
You can give a student access to the best programs in the world…but without these key ingredients, opportunity is just a door. With them, it becomes a pathway. 🚀💛

Advocates help students navigate.
Mentors help them grow.
Family keeps them grounded.
Together, they create the environment where confidence builds, goals sharpen, and futures take shape.

What. A. DAY. 😎✨

Our Postsecondary Summer Bootcamp for incoming college freshmen blasted off with the theme: “To Boldly Go Where No One Has Gone Before!” 🛸🌟

We kicked things off with a warm welcome, expectations, and a super fun icebreaker led by Angelica Rojas. The students were fully engaged… and yes, we have the pics to prove it 😄📸

Then came the Vision Board Party with Sonia Atiyeh, motivational music, big dreams, creativity everywhere. These freshmen were mapping out their next 2–4 years like future CEOs, engineers, and world‑changers. 🎧🖼️💭

After lunch, our Chief Advancement Officer Ruth Rios and Karina Rios from Alma Sonora led the most relaxing session ever on presence, confidence, and self‑awareness. The sound therapy was so peaceful some students didn’t want to wake up afterward 😴💛✨

We wrapped up with raffles for our most engaged students prizes included a carry‑on bag and a mattress cover because success starts with good sleep AND good travel vibes 😆🎁

THIS is what continued support looks like!
Freshmen… you’re officially on your way. 🚀🔥

It’s Mentor Monday, and we’re celebrating the people who make the magic happen our mentors and our partnership with Take Stock in Children. 🌟🙌

And Foundation mentor Lirio K. Negroni says it perfectly:

“As a mentor, I committed myself to be respectful, non‑judgmental, a positive role model, and a consistent listener… Being a Foundation mentor has given so much joy and meaning to my life. I feel I have used my strengths to make a difference.”
💛✨

This is what mentorship really looks like.
Not just check‑ins. Not just encouragement.
It’s trust, self‑awareness, goal‑setting, and real conversations that shape a young person’s future. 🚀📚

And when mentors show up, everything changes. Students gain confidence.
They build self‑esteem. They step into internships that transform potential into purpose. They become the future workforce of Southwest Florida....engineers, healthcare leaders, entrepreneurs, educators, and skilled professionals. 💼🔥

One mentor becomes one student’s momentum. And that momentum becomes a stronger community.
