The Collier Mosquito Control District was founded in 1950 to protect the public from disease-carrying and nuisance mosquitoes.

Due to high numbers of adult mosquitoes the following treatments have been scheduled:

Tomorrow morning after 6 AM, a CMCD helicopter will apply a treatment of Dibrom in the Marco Shores, Key Marco and Goodland areas.

Tomorrow morning after 6 AM, a CMCD helicopter will apply a treatment of Merus 3.0 along US 41 between Eagles Lakes Gulf Club and Henderson Creek. This treatment includes the Winding Cypress, Naples Reserve, Old Marco Junction, Fiddler's Creek and Links of Naples areas.

Due to high numbers of mosquito larvae, a CMCD truck will apply a treatment of organic NatularSC tonight after 8:30 PM in the Naples High and Fleishmann Park areas.
