Our Story

WHAT DO WE DO?
* We fight the unnecessary, and often arbitrary, closure or restriction of all public waterways;
* We work as closely as possible WITH agencies such as the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FFWCC), Florida Department of Environmental Protection (DEP), the Florida Marine Research Institute(FMRI), US Fish and Wildlife Service(USFWS) and state and local governments, such as Department of Community Affairs (DCA), Governor and Cabinet and Legislature to make sure that boaters voices are heard on all issues;
* We have litigated when necessary to maintain your rights;
* We fight on local issues such as the recent attempt by the Florida Springs Task Force to close or severely restrict boating and recreation in popular boating spots such as Silver Glen Springs.
* We've fought against boat ramp closures as well as, supported proposed new ramps.
