One of the best parts of the day is watching our animals enjoy their favorite fresh treats! From our curious bearded dragon crunching on crisp greens to our happy rabbits and gentle tortoises enjoying their meals, every feeding is a chance for our learners to observe, care, and connect.

🌊🔬 Exploring the Wonders Beneath the Surface!

Today our Philo Summer Enrichment learners traded the farm for the sea as we explored the incredible world of marine science at Mote Marine Laboratory!

From discovering fascinating ocean creatures to learning how scientists protect our coastal ecosystems, every exhibit sparked curiosity, questions, and meaningful conversations. Our learners experienced firsthand that learning happens wherever curiosity leads.

At Philo, we believe the best education combines exploration, real-world experiences, and hands-on discovery. Every field trip helps learners connect what they see with how they think, inspiring a lifelong love of learning.

Today, our learners stepped into the wildflower garden with a simple mission: harvest beautiful blooms to brighten someone else’s day. 🌸🌺

As they carefully chose each flower, they weren’t just learning about plants, they were practicing generosity, gratitude, and the joy of giving. Every bouquet became a reminder that even the smallest act of kindness can make someone smile.

Our Summer Enrichment learners look forward to animal check-in each morning, where caring for the calves has quickly become a favorite part of the day.

These moments are about so much more than feeding and checking on animals. They’re opportunities to build responsibility, practice gentle leadership, develop empathy, and experience the joy that comes from caring for another living thing.
