As Alicia's husband, I've watched her bring the same compassion and determination to the State House that our family has demonstrated in public service for generations. In Concord, she founded the Granite Bridge Legislative Alliance—the first Braver Angels-inspired bipartisan caucus in the nation—because she truly believes real progress happens when we put people before politics. Whether she's championing legislation on child protection, mental health, and victims' rights, or fighting alongside neighbors to stop an asphalt plant from being built in a residential area, Alicia shows up for our community. She serves on the Child and Family Law Committee, working to fix laws that unintentionally harm families, and she's earned a reputation for transparency, thoughtful collaboration, and actually making time and listening to constituents across the political spectrum.

Alicia and I both talk about how lucky we are to serve the public because it adds to our joy. We don't begrudgingly do it. It's just a part of who we are, and has been so in our family for over 150 years.
