If You’re Seeing Contamination in Your Fluid System
Contamination does not always come from the fluid itself. In many cases, it is introduced by the system.
We often see this as a result of weld consistency. When welds are not tightly controlled, they can create small internal irregularities easily missed during fabrication that show up during operation.
That can include:
- Small crevices where fluid can collect
- Irregular internal surfaces that shed particulates
- Areas that are difficult to fully clean or flush
If contamination is recurring or difficult to trace, it may be built into the system. Learn more:
Plastic Weld Quality Matters (Contamination) If you see contamination, the plastic weld quality may be the source, not the material. Contact us for assistance.

Axenics leverages the CLAMS method to ensure consistent quality and precision by focusing on:
Current: Maintaining a stable arc to reduce defects such as porosity, inclusions, or incomplete fusion. Welders continually monitor arc behavior and adjust in real time to ensure consistency.
Length: Controlling electrode distance to avoid tungsten contamination, weak pe*******on, or unwanted spatter. Consistent arc length produces reliable welds across varying shapes and materials.
Amperage: Dynamically adjusting heat input with foot pedals to achieve full pe*******on without warping thin materials or producing cold, brittle welds.
Manipulation: Skilled, rhythmic movement of torch and filler material creates smooth and deliberate beads, from straight lines to circular welds on tubing, delivering repeatable excellence.
Speed: Balancing travel pace ensures strong and defect-free joints while preventing overheating or incomplete fusion.
