Did you know you can put ANYTHING on pizza? Literally, anything. You're an adult. There are no limits.
I've been telling y'all about my fig jam pizza. I got some unconvinced looks. So here it is...
Homemade pizza crust.
Our fig jam on the base. A couple of tablespoons.
A little bit of mozzarella.
Salt pork that's been cooked in cast iron with caramelized onions.
A few dollops of honey goat cheese and a little bit more mozzarella.
Bake at 500 for 10-13 minutes.
That's it. Sweet and salty deliciousness.
I also made a garlic parmesean mushroom and onion pizza. I'm glad there will be leftovers.
