Wanted to share a few more of my guy up in the tree. The branch unfortunately blocked the view of it with his head turned all the way around but you can still see his beak. Also, I have no idea if this was a male or female barred owl but if anyone knows how you can tell (if you can from photos) I’d love to know!

Well we didn’t see any moose but we did have an impromptu photoshoot with this winged fellow. This barred owl flew in front of the car on our way back from Stud Mill tonight and gave me so many different poses. So grateful that it stuck around for so long to let me capture some photos. 🥰

Felt so amazing to get away from civilization and all that’s happening in the wold, even for a couple of hours. Sitting on the edge of this lake and watching the sun go down was honestly all I needed. Be sure to get outside everyone, your mental health will thank you. This photo seemed appropriate for day 19 of COVID-19.
