We’re Home!

I’m so happy to share that all of our crew members from the mission trip made it home safely. We just got back, and to say we’re exhausted and overwhelmed is an understatement. But we’re also incredibly grateful for the experience and for everyone’s support along the way.

I want to apologize to any of our friends and family we didn’t get a chance to visit or connect with. There was a lot of chaos and confusion throughout the trip, and with 10 of us working together, things got pretty stressful. Please know it wasn’t intentional, and we truly appreciate your understanding.

I’ll be doing a full photo dump and sharing the stories of our mission as soon as we’re able to catch our breath. Thank you all again for your prayers, donations, and encouragement. We couldn’t have done this without you! Stay tuned for more updates soon.

I am beyond excited about everything coming together for our mission to help those in Western North Carolina! The response has been absolutely overwhelming, and we’ve received an incredible amount of donations. I can’t express enough gratitude for the outpouring of love and support from our community!

We just finished loading everything up at 9:30 tonight, and to be honest, we’re absolutely exhausted. But this mission has been on my heart since the storm hit, and there’s no turning back now. We will be heading out tomorrow morning at 5 AM to begin this journey, so we won’t be at the church after tonight.

I want to give a HUGE shoutout to Cstone church in James city for all their incredible help! At the last minute, they rented us a 26-foot U-Haul truck, which means we can eliminate several vehicles and have plenty of space to pack everything in. They also graciously let us take over their lobby to sort all the donations. We couldn’t have done this without you! 🙌

A huge thank you to all the volunteers who came out and helped us pack everything up. Your willingness to jump in and take on tasks relieved so much stress and allowed me to delegate jobs, which was a huge help! I couldn’t have done it without you!

I also want to thank everyone who contributed monetary donations. Your generosity will help cover the cost of fuel and other critical needs for the people in Western North Carolina. Every single dollar will make a real difference in the lives of those we’ll be serving.

Thank you again to everyone who has donated, helped, prayed, and supported this mission. Even though we’re tired, we’re ready to go because we know God is guiding us through this, and the people we’re going to serve are in such need. We are so blessed to be able to serve and be the hands and feet of Jesus.
