The kitchen hood surround turned out amazing! The left side has adjustable shelves and other side has magnetic wood bars that I custom made to hold all of his chef knives. It’s completely custom made to the space out of 1x12 and 1x8 pine that is stained and polyurethaned. Then finished out the top with white washed nickel gap to tie in with the custom entertainment center I built on the other side of the room. I also installed the hood and puck lights. Bunk room is finished! They decided to stain most of it instead of only the back wall and turned out pretty good looking.
