This weekend, the Capitol is lit blue, pink, and white for Transgender Day of Visibility. Trans Day of Visibility is recognized on March 31 as a way to raise awareness and draw attention to the disproportionate levels of discrimination and violence the community faces, as well as celebrate the lives and contributions of trans people.
