Last night during the Needham School Committee meeting, Rocket, Needham's community resource dog joined us with R.J. Poirier, School Resource Officer. NHS seniors Talia Bloom and Santiago Galen were awarded the 2021-22 Massachusetts Association of School Superintendents Certificates of Academic Excellence. It was announced that Needham Public Schools will be hosting vaccine clinics for children ages 5-11 the weekends of November 11/13 - 11/14 and 11/20 - 11/21.

At tonight's School Committee Meeting, we recognized Needham's COVID-19 Joint Health & Safety Committee. Thank you for all of your hard work to keep our students, teachers and staff safe and healthy this year!

With the warmer weather, it's been great to have our Needham students enjoying their time outside without masks over the last week smiling and laughing with friends. Just a few more weeks until summer vacation.

This Memorial Day weekend, we remember and honor all those who have served to keep our town, state and country safe. Thank you for all that you have done.
