BNI Rebounders

On Friday we had our weekly networking meeting. It is always fun and productive but this week it happened to be our in person meeting and they're always extra special. Not only do we pass referrals to each other, but we're all friends and interested in each other. It's a great feeling to have such solid camaraderie amongst our members. Our featured speakers were: Celo Janca our Plumbing & Heating contractor with Janca Plumbing & Heating who spoke on the issues one can have with old boilers and consideration of CO2 detection. Also, Savas Fetfatsidis our loan officer with Guaranteed Rate spoke about his journey to becoming a loan officer. Two great presentations. Our week of outdoor social gatherings continued with the Inaugural Pickleball Tournament held at the home of our very own Savvas Fetfatsidis, Senior Loan Officer with Guaranteed Rate. Savvas's generosity in full force starting with snacks and an assortment of ice cold craft brews. The Pickleball tourney began with some hard fought games featuring the teams of Richard Belofsky with the Bulfinch Group and Alan Rice of Rialto Academy. Nate Harel of NetTech Services teamed with Chris Buras of Rockland Trust. Thomas Ramsey of No Barking Around with Peter and finally Savvas Fetfatsidis along with Mark Karlsberg of Studio Eleven Photography rounded out the teams. After a few games of this double elimination tournament Savvas put his paddle down, picked up a spatula and grilled hot dogs and burgers to order for the group (sorry I forgot to take photos of the spread, I was stuffing my face with his amazing cheeseburgers). Delicious assortment of cupcakes from BabyCakes of Quincy was generously provided by Andrew Greenberg of Andrew Greenberg Attorney at Law, to round out the meal. We continued our Pickleball quest into dusk until the winners were determined but honestly we all won! It was a great time. Big shoutout to Savvas for so generously hosting such a fun event.
