What does having a research-based product mean? When product designers leverage learning sciences to inform how features work and how learners interact with thee content, the product uses academic research to inform the design. And now they have this pretty badge. This badge aligns with the ESSA Level/Tier 4 requirements.

Our first foundational research paper was accepted by the International Certification for Evidence in Education. It’s for The Mimir, a program to help kids practice Mandarin and Spanish through debate.

Rachel Edelman Schechter led the project.

Third graders are making strides! Many states have passed legislation focused on teaching foundational skills - our first glimpse of that work paying off has arrived. Next up, helping the older students catch up.
