RARE IVONOVICH & NIKOLAEVNA PALEKH FAIRYTALE ART
Hand crafted and hand painted by Russian artists and finished by Kamardin Boris Ivanovich & Kamardina Tatiana Nikolaevna in the village of Palekh in the Ivanova region of Russia. Their palekh art is mostly held in private collections. This piece is tilted "Geese-Swans" (translated from the back of the clock). This is thought to be a fairy tale depiction which is the artist's specialty. Seller bought this piece directly from Boris Ivanovich when he was in the United States at a large art show. While there are many Palekh art pieces available, finding a piece with a clock and by these notable artist's is rare.
