I have some exciting news to announce. My application to take the Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) Exam has been accepted! This is a high level certification in the welding community and upon successful completion of the exam, will give me the ability to inspect welds for there integrity. There are a lot of other endorsements to obtain with this certification as my expertise in the welding trade grows.
Breaking out the scanner today!
This is a fun tool that lets me trace outlines of objects or designs. After it traces the whole object, it then saves the trace as a file that I can use my plasma cutter to cut out of metal.
Keep me in mind if you ever need a part or design duplicated or made into a computer file!

Just finished this sign for a customer. Utilized the two layer technique to be able to incorporate multiple colors while giving the logo and lettering some dimension.
Doing some stick welding practice today. I’m obviously better at welding than making videos lol.
