It’s raceday people today we head to Sophia NC, to race at Caraway Speedway. Super excited to be back at this track and hoping to have a great day with Three Sixteen Motorsports LLC!!! Green is at 7pm let’s go get it!!

Caraway Speedway Recap.

The day began with an unexpected delay, as I was late to morning practice by a hour however, we still managed to complete a strong two-hour session. Despite it being our first time on the track, we delivered some good lap times. We entered practice feeling good and were 8th.

Heading into qualifying, our confidence remained high. Unfortunately, we narrowly missed the top-six redraw by just four hundredths of a second, placing us 7th on the grid. The race itself began with problems, as we nearly lost the car in Turn 1 and found ourselves at a disadvantage early on. Despite the close call, we maintained composure, losing only one position along with some valuable time to the leader.

From that point forward, our focus shifted to recovery. With determination and consistency, we worked our way back up to 7th place and began closing the gap on 6th. However, navigating through unpredictable lap traffic made it difficult to gain further ground.

Overall happy about the day, huge thank you to Will at Three Sixteen Motorsports LLC and congrats to my teammates Kaedin Ridenhour Racing , Barefoot Racing and Wolfe Pack Racing LLC on their strong finishes. Overall as a team we had great speed can’t wait to get back in the car and go chase a win!

This was certainly not the weekend we had anticipated.

We unloaded on Friday afternoon feeling confident in our speed, and that showed throughout practice as we consistently ran strong lap times. In qualifying, we weren’t able to put together our best lap, but still secured a 4th-place starting position.

We quickly moved into 3rd and began closing in on the top two before a competition caution was issued. On the restart, we battled for 2nd but got shuffled to the outside and dropped back to 5th. We fought our way back up to 3rd before another caution. Opting for the outside lane, we restarted 2nd, but once again got shuffled and fell to 5th with five laps to go.

Despite that, we managed to work our way back up to 3rd coming to the white flag. Unfortunately, heading into turns 3 and 4 on the final lap, we were hit from behind by a driver making a super aggressive and borderline reckless move nearly causing a wreck. We crossed the line in 5th but were credited with 4th after a post-race disqualification.

Overall, it’s a disappointing result, especially knowing we had the speed for a podium finish, if not a 2nd place finish I hate it for the Three Sixteen Motorsports LLC team because we had an extremely fast car and were looking forward to showcasing that again. Unfortunately Showdown Series and Coastal Plains Raceway made the decision to cancel Saturday’s race due to low car count. While disappointing, I completely understand and respect their decision.

A big thank you to everyone at Three Sixteen Motorsports LLC for giving me such a fast racecar, and a huge thank you to my dad and everyone who continues to support me.

Day 2 of speedweeks recap.

We qualified 25th which was not great in the slightest. We knew we had some race pace in the car so we just put our heads down and started fighting. We drove up to 11th during the race till the last restart where we got a bump from out back and washed up and ended up getting freight trained on the top falling all the way back into the 19th position where we ended up sadly finishing. I hate it because I knew we had some speed in it but we just didn’t have the experience to be able to keep it over all super thankful for the opportunity and the help from Will at Three Sixteen Motorsports LLC. August 30th Legends Race Recap

We started off the day early at Carteret County Speedway with morning practice and what we felt like was decent speed. We went out for qualifying after the modifieds had their practice and their rubber caused almost every car to be super loose. We tried to make an adjustment to help and qualified 5th. Early in the race we moved up to 4th and just kinda got stuck there due to the car being super loose on entry and exit of the corners but we held on to what we had and came home 4th with a whole car so I’m happy. Wish we could have fought for a podium but we’ll get them next time!
