At Union Point, we believe rest isn’t just a suggestion — it’s a rhythm of the Kingdom.

From the beginning, God built rest into the fabric of creation, not as a reward for finishing, but as a reminder of trust. Rest says, “God is God, and I am not.” It reorients us, renews us, and reminds us where our strength comes from.

That’s why each year we set aside intentional space for Sabbath.

Along with the last Sunday of the year, we will again observe a second Sabbath Sunday on July 5th.

Our heart in this is simple: to create margin for all of those who faithfully serve week in and week out to slow down, be present with their families, recharge, and embrace the gift of rest.
We love gathering, but we also believe healthy rhythms matter. Sometimes one of the most spiritual things we can do is stop.

So take the day. Breathe deep. Be with your people. Worship around the table, in the backyard, on the boat, or wherever the Lord has you.
Rest is holy.
And rest is part of the rhythm of the Kingdom.
