Our Story

Experience the relaxation and peacefulness of this charming and romantic inn on the Guadalupe River in the foothills of the Texas hill country. The Lamb's Rest Inn offers distinctive bed and breakfast accommodations in this private residence located in the Preiss Heights neighborhood less than a mile from the historic village of Gruene in New Braunfels, Texas. The lush gardens and fountains, pool and hot tub provide several outdoor settings for a quiet respite. Seven uniquely decorated guest rooms feature luxurious linens and robes, TVs, DVD players, wireless internet, private baths (some with spa tubs), fireplaces, Keurig coffee makers, refrigerators, signature soaps, shampoo and bath grains. Guests enjoy either a gourmet style served breakfast at 9am each day, or a brown bag breakfast by request for those who wish to sleep in. Complimentary non-alcoholic beverages and award-winning chocolate chip cookies are available. We also offer intimate wedding, anniversary, and birthday packages, family reunion packages, and a honeymoon suite. Military & AAA discounts apply. Weekends are a 2-day minimum. Our breakfast is served in the traditional German stammtisch (community table) setting, giving guests an opportunity to get to know each other and engage in enjoyable conversation.
