As you may know from the yellow/orange haze outside your windows, the air quality in the Middlesex County area is poor right now due to Canadian wildfire smoke. Limit outdoor activities and mask up if you are vulnerable and have to be outside.

You can view hyperlocal air quality data at map.purpleair.com. KMM has local Purple Air monitors that are helping gather this data.

⏳ There are just 4 days left until the new e-bike law grace period is over. By Sunday, July 19th, all e-bike owners must have proper license (driver's or motorized bicycle) and registration. All motorized e-bike owners must have insurance.

The National Weather Service has declared an Air Quality Alert for NJ and an Extreme Temperature Advisory for Central Jersey. Smoke from the Canadian wildfires will also reach our area today and tomorrow, further impacting air quality.

When possible, combine your errands into one trip, stay indoors, and check on the elderly and those with health issues.

Due to the possibility of thunderstorms tomorrow, the Sayreville Bike Rodeo has been postponed to July 16. We hope to see you then!
