We're partnering with Cerbo's Nurseries to get a look behind the scenes at how our town shade trees start.

Gain an understanding of the nursery grower’s process, technologies, and methods as they nurture shade trees from slip to sale. Small groups will rotate through 5 tour stations of live demos with real equipment and industry techniques for Production, Field Planting, Digging, Staging, and Installation & Establishment.
Stick around after the tour for the optional, additional tour of growing fields.

Happy Arbor Day! Hope everyone had a fantastic series of Earth and Arbor Day celebrations this past week. We spent Earth week with our friends and partners, starting at the Rutgers Tree Planting Festival April 18th and closing in Paramus April 24th. On Friday our Arbor Day was well spent volunteering with the NJ Tree Foundation to plant trees and listening to wonderful speakers celebrate this special holiday. This year the NJ Urban & Community Forestry Program is partnering with the NJ Tree Foundation on Arbor Day to plant trees in Camden at Farnham Park! In addition to tree planting, the NJ Tree Foundation is giving away peach, apple, plum, nectarine, and pear trees to Camden residents from 11am - 1pm that day at the park.
