Candide: A collaborative production with Rutgers Theater Company. This operetta by Leonard Bernstein, based on Voltaire’s 1759 satire, follows the increasingly far-flung, globe-trotting journeys of Candide and Cunégonde as their optimism is tested through nonstop catastrophe.
