If Husqvarna TPI and the KTM TPI are essentially the same engine why does KTM recommend Motorex and Husqvarna recommend Motol? On paper Motorex is a much better oil. Right up there with Amsoil in fact ….except Twice the price.

In the 30 years that I have been working in lubrication I have never seen any product come close to Amsoil‘s technical qualities. That is to say volatility, viscosity index, Pour point, flashpoint…
Until I took a close look at Motorex. Like Amsoil they are a small company in Switzerland with high standards of excellence and quality control. Produced from one facility and shipping all over the world. The price difference must be in tariffs, shipping costs from Switzerland, and Dealer markup.
