Ben Fisch, assistant professor of computer science at Yale Engineering, has won a National Science Foundation (NSF) CAREER Award for his work on cryptographic systems that ensure data confidentiality and computational accuracy.

With AI taking on a growing role in healthcare and finance, Fisch’s work to protect sensitive data is more vital than ever. “Cloud servers are powerful, but they are also magnets for attacks, from data breaches to application exploits,” Fisch said.
