Runner of the Week: Anna Mikhaila Aller

1. Anna is a sophomore in Saybrook. From Las Vegas, Anna always complains about the freezing weather.
2. Favorite Food: All types of Filipino food, especially Lumpia.
3. Favorite Restaurant: Whale Tea. Yes, boba is a full meal for her.
4. She joined RRP because she loves how both food insecurity and food waste is alleviated simultaneously. She truly believes in how essential the food runs can be for the New Haven community, though it is not a huge time commitment. She cannot wait to continue it for 2 more years!

Thank you Anna for you commitment to RRP!

Runner of the week: Emma Rutan

Emma Rutan is a junior in Silliman from Braintree, Massachusetts studying psychology and global health.

In her free time, she loves singing with her a ca****la group Mixed Company, doing theatre, working as a research assistant for the Mechanisms of Disinhibition Lab, and working as a tour guide!

Her favorite foods are sushi and peanut butter (not together) and her favorite restaurant in New Haven is Barcelona.

Emma joined RRP because she believes no food should be wasted, especially in a city suffering from food insecurity. It’s incredibly easy to get involved in and participate in RRP and she recommends it to anyone that cares about health as a human right and food security as a means to achieve health equity!

Thank you Emma for your dedication to RRP!
