There is so much Juneteenth magic happening tomorrow! In Dixwell, join our peers and colleagues at ConnCAT and ConnCORP as they gather to celebrate the Grand Opening and Community Celebration of ConnCAT's new headquarters at First HAVEN in Dixwell.

This special Juneteenth celebration marks a major milestone for New Haven and the Dixwell community. More than a building, the new ConnCAT headquarters is a transformative space designed to expand access to education, workforce development, arts and culture, entrepreneurship, and community connection for generations to come.

Meet us today under the red waves at the Promenade, where ConnCAT pays tribute to the beloved ancestors of Dixwell—honoring their legacy, celebrating their contributions, and recognizing the generations who helped shape this community.

As we begin a new chapter in this historic space, we do so with deep respect for the people, stories, and memories that came before us. Their legacy lives on in the spirit of Dixwell and continues to inspire the work we do and the future we are building together.
