Shimaenaga is a Japanese bird also called "snow fairies". They can be found in forests near downtown Sapporo, Hokkaido's capital, but due to the fact they can look like snowballs and are very fast flyers, they are not easy to spot.
This was today’s quick painting. I saw a photo of one of these little buddies and I just needed to look them up and paint one, they are just to cute.

Some spring time encouragement that I made this morning.
This is a location near where I used to live, I still think it’s a lovely place to go for a hike.
This past week or so I’ve been turning my art into metallic art prints, and putting them on my Etsy store. I promise I’m going to be back to regular posting again, I had to make a bunch of these things all by hand, and I lost track of time there for a bit.
