A NEW CHAPTER PUSH community organization is sponsoring a youth retreat on August 1, 2026.
This retreat will take place at Angola State Penitentiary in Saint Francisville, Louisiana.
The purpose of this retreat is to bring our young people to this facility, now recognized as the most reformed institution in America, where they will be addressed by juvenile lifers who committed crimes at a young age and will share their stories in an effort to deter the young men and women of today from following a similar path and potentially ending up in a place like Angola.

A NEW CHAPTER PUSH community organization held its fifth Sunday service this past Sunday, May 31, 2026, at the host church, LITTLE ZORAH Missionary Baptist Church of New Iberia. A big thank you goes out to our guest speaker, Dr. Chris Williams of United Ballot Pack. We appreciate our sponsor, Black Voters Matter, who supplied materials concerning voting in Louisiana, which Dr. Chris shared along with the Supreme Court ruling. Thank you to all A NEW CHAPTER PUSH members and guests who came out; we had an awesome time in the Lord.
