November 2025 SNAP benefits updates from New Kent County Department of Social Services The New Kent County Department of Social Services is notifying residents that, because of the federal government shutdown that began October 1, 2025, SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) benefits for November may be delayed or not issued.

It's Giving Tuesday! The Diaper Assistance Program is an expensive operation to run- we spend about $1,000 per month on diapers. If you would like to give you can use this link, making sure 'Diaper Assistance Program' is the selected fund.
