Rainy day at the campsite? 🌧️ Don't let it trap you inside your rig! Your awning is your best friend right now—but only if you set it up to handle the water.

If you leave your awning perfectly flat, rain will pool right in the middle. That extra weight can stretch the fabric or, worse, snap an awning arm.

The Fix: Lower one corner of your awning significantly more than the other. This creates a steep tilt (or "dump angle") that forces rainwater to run off the side immediately rather than pool. You get a dry outdoor porch to sit under, and your awning stays completely safe from water weight.
