Gopher State Railway Museum

We were blessed with a beautiful June Saturday today and we took advantage of the weather to make some progress on a couple projects.

Volunteers continued to work on the Burlington drover’s car and got another window installed. The windows still need exterior trim to finish them off, but it looks so much better with windows instead of plywood panels where windows should be.

Keeping everything painted and looking good is an endless battle. The depot is in need of a paint job (it feels like we just painted it!). Volunteers spent the day scraping paint and patching rotted siding. Even without fresh paint, it already looks better than it did.
